This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I coach both the girl's and boy's volleyball teams at a high school in Newark. We deal with a lot setbacks due to not having a gym of our own. We have a public facility that we use and we have some of our own supplies; however, they are old and starting to fall apart.

We need additional/ new resources such as a ball cart and other supplies in order to practice to the best of our ability.

There is so much that is needed, but, these few things would be a great start.
