My Project

Through hands-on manipulatives and visual representations, I hope to provide even more experiences for students to see the beauty of math.

The goal of my classroom is to create a space where students feel safe to interact, see, and play with math.

Every day, students stand at the whiteboards working collaboratively. They have discussions on how to solve problems that explore new concepts. The magnetic math manipulatives and markers will provide tools for that hands-on learning.

I strive to provide activities and materials that allow students to engage with math in nontraditional ways. My hope is that students leave my classroom feeling more comfortable confronting math.
