Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students I teach are academically gifted and/or high achieving learners who attend Title I schools. They are excited about the world around them and how it works. They are from diverse backgrounds, but are all eager and fast learners.

I want them to have the opportunities they need to learn and grow.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

My Project

My students are excited by opportunities to share their learning in different ways. The students need a high definition camcorder to record their work, a camera for stills, and a microphone for them to record voice-overs. These materials will allow them opportunities to create in both math and literacy.

With these materials they will be able to record and share their work.

One of the ways we would use these materials is for the students to share through virtual reality storytelling. The students and I are very excited about this ambitious undertaking. Through this project I hope to give them all the resources they need.
