Violin Class Needs Violins!

My students need 2 violins.

We do not have enough violins to meet the demand of our violin program! Our school is in a high-needs community and many students are on free or reduced lunch. The violin class is offered during the day, but we do not have enough instruments to meet the demand. Some of the instruments we do have are very old, or too big or too small for the students! We are sharing violins, two students per violin, and we really would like to have enough decent instruments for everybody!

The violin program is helping to improve our children's self-esteem! It is giving them a positive outlet and providing a method of self-expression through music. But we are not satisfied, because imagine what we could do with quality instruments for every child! Please help make a dream come true and give a child the gift of music.

If you donate money to our project, we will be able to purchase two 3/4 size violins, and give two more students the opportunity that may change their lives!

Who knows where music will take these students? Many of my former students are now attending college on music scholarships! They started their career on a school violin! Music inspires creativity, music is brain power, it's all true! Music changes attitudes and changes lives. By giving to this project you are giving a child a helping hand and a chance to better their lives and the lives around them! Your donation will make a difference!
