This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We are preparing for the solar eclipse which will occur on April 8, 2024. My students and I have been visualizing how the sky will actually appear to us on this particular day.
We are patiently awaiting on this day to arrive.
We have drawn pictures and wrote short paragraphs describing how the sky will look on this day. We have also researched the dangers of watching the solar eclipse with the naked eye.
The solar eclipse glasses will allow my students and me to view the solar eclipse and describe the sky. We will also be able to take pictures of the eclipse and display them around the classroom.
