Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help two classrooms with books and crafts that will make learning fun! Across religions and cultures, every holiday provides a set of vocabulary words for young language learners to explore. They also are an ideal time for reading books together and sharing stories—stories about family traditions, current and past holiday celebrations, and people who enhance each child's life. I am requesting two story books; one about Valentine's Day and one about Saint Patrick's Day. I am also requesting crafts so students can create "Valentine Monsters" and write a short story about their monster.
