UTK Loves the Outdoors

Help me give my students dramatic play items and furniture for an outdoor classroom experience.

My Project

I teach the youngest students at a wonderful school in the San Fernando Valley. More than half the students in my school qualify for free or reduced meals.

My students are curious learners who love the outdoors, but our playground is lacking the proper equipment for them to fully engage their imaginations.

I would love to be able to provide my little learners and our neighboring classmates with appropriate chairs that will adapt as they grow, a soft turf area to play on, as well as outdoor camping and gardening playsets that will inspire them to continue the dramatic play they love in our classroom to the outdoors.

Having access to an appropriately sized play area during recess, lunch, p.e. and outdoor classroom time will help my littlest learners use their imaginations and creativity in a fun and collaborative way.
