Using our Heads with Headphones!

Help me give my students a set of durable headphones so they can use technology to assist them with reading and math. My students have access to chromebooks, but they need headphones in order to work on them.

My Students

My students are from an impoverished community where the drug problem has caused many of them to be developmentally delayed. They need a lot of extra help and materials that are geared to their level of learning. My students are on many different levels and have a variety of issues they face at home which carries over into school. I love all my students and strive to help them become better people. I focus a lot on kindness and treating all people with respect.

My Project

My students have access to technology, but we are short on headphones. I have spent a lot of my own money to buy extra headphones and earbuds, but these are cheap and don't last long with young children. If they had a set of these headphones, I think they would last a long time. I have a really appreciative group of children and I know they would be so thankful for any help they can get. My students live in an economically challenging area and don't have access to the best of everything. I'm doing this to ensure that they have the chance to succeed. I believe in working to provide the best education possible for my students, and with your help, I can do it!!!!!
