My students that are coming into my classroom this year vary greatly in ability. Some students will start out at a much lower level than others. In order for me to reach many of these students, I need leveled readers that will allow me work with them at the level they are at. I think leveled readers and a variety of reading materials are vital to any classroom. I plan on using these books in small groups and at home reading projects. Many of my students come from homes where there is very little reading material so I like to send hooks hone with my students weekly. Most of them don’t have access to computers or internet at home. I’d like to be able to loan out an iPad or Chromebook to a few of these students.
