My Students

My students are educational sponges. They are very eager to learn. The excitement that is displayed on each face as they walk through the classroom door makes my heart smile and gives me even more motivation to expose them to every opportunity in every subject and in every aspect of learning. My students come to school with a positive attitude.

My students come from a background of having the minimum home resources.

When they come to school, they are looking for the best education that should be awarded to them. They have a lack of resources at home, so the students should have these resources at school. My students need to have every opportunity to become as successful as any student.

My Project

An iPad will give my students the flexibility to be able to explore the world of learning. Each year, the school gives each classroom access to educational sites but there is always a struggle to schedule the students to be able to have time to use the sites because of the lack of technology. ideally a well rounded classroom would be to have a set of 30 iPads. The more technology ratio will increase student achievement.

The iPad will allow the students to become more mobile.

Students will be able to use their creativity in all subjects as well as allow the students to be able to research questions and inquire through having unlimited assess to the internet. The use of iPad will decrease the use of paper and help to become more aligned with the ever evolving world.

The use of the iPad will open up the world to the students through NGSS and STEM. Students will be able to create projects outside of the classroom or computer labs that require technology.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
