This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I recently received some bookshelves for my classroom. Right now, they're empty and bereft of needed inhabitants.

I'd like to fill them with a collection of age-appropriate books and graphic novels for my students to read during class.

I'd also like to use them for graded student activities and assignments. This donation would be the beginning of my classroom book and graphic novel collection.

My bookshelves look forlorn. Please help me fill them with intriguing reading material which will encourage student creativity, a love of reading while increasing reading comprehension.
