This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a small school in the small rural town of Delano California. We mostly serve underrepresented youth who are the children of farm workers.

These kids have a passion and love for soccer that is incomparable.

However, we have struggled to compete and develop properly due to a lack of equipment.

Soccer in the US has a pay to play system in place that makes it difficult for marginalized children to have equal opportunities. Help us get the proper equipment need to close and challenge the current status quo.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
