My Students

My students are innovative, smart and loaded with kindness! They totally love dynamic lessons being related to history, and connecting with adventures and difficulties that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! COVID-19 has been truly difficult. They come to class every day prepared to attempt new things and take brave risks to grow both personally and academically. Honestly, they are my motivation!

Every student in my classroom really appreciates learning, although the climate where they learn best fluctuates incredibly.

We incorporate an assortment of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to guarantee that every student's necessities are met, right where they are! They are genuinely a mind blowing group of students, and I'm so fortunate and appreciative to have another group of rising sophomores that are energized and prepared to learn each year.

My Project

I will utilize these materials to help keep my students focused on the lesson with incentives to keep them on task and have something amazing to look forward to at the end, once assignments are completed.

Many of my students have struggled for the past two years with the difficulties that COVID-19 has added to their lives.

Keeping them motivated in the classroom is my priority. I also want to make them feel comfortable and at home because this is their second home. Providing them with snacks and cleaning materials to keep them safe, and food when they are hungry or successful in the classroom is something I believe will help overall classroom energy.
