This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would be very appreciative of any and all support that I receive from this donors choose project. I currently just inherited a classroom that had everything all mixed in together. The younger grade level books had been placed with the older grade level books and it made it very difficult for my younger students to locate any book that they could have possibly been interested in. My lower grades K-2 should be able to see and understand how to find a book that they might want to read. Books on a better and clear display truly makes an impact. I have two primary shelves in my classroom that are currently bare. With no cubby boxes holding them keeping them warm for the books that are waiting to be shelved. As I am trying to rearrange my classroom these shelves and containers will help the students see all of the books in a neat and organized manner.

My goal is to help and teach Kinder-6th grade students the actual functionally of a library and explore beyond the stories in this room.
