Tumbling into 2022!

Help me give my students these gymnastics mats so they have a safe space to explore full-body movement.

My Project

The all-purpose mats I'm requesting for my Physical Education classes have so many useful possibilities. One of the main ones is to use them for basic tumbling skills. These skills teach the students balance, full-body control, and spatial awareness. Not to mention they are so much fun! I can also use them for other activities such as yoga, mat ball, Oscar the Grouch, Star Wars and so much more.

The students constantly want to practice skills like cartwheels or show their classmates' dance and gymnastics routines, which in turn we can learn as a class.

Currently, that's not an option because of the tile floors in our shared space (gym/cafeteria/auditorium). It's just not safe to do those types of movements. I'd love to make this dream a reality for my students.
