We use music all the time during PE class to promote a positive fun classroom environment while motivating our students. This will also give my co-teacher and me a microphone for our larger classes and field day so that everyone can hear the directions and safety instructions no matter what part of the gym or field they are in. Everything from our warm-ups to our cool down involves music. It's a signal to start activity and to stop look and listen when the music stops. The music we play also creates an energy that motivates our students to get moving and stay moving.
