This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Trout in the Classroom is a program sponsored by Trout Unlimited. We have been raising trout for the past 5 years and need to get new equipment. The chiller is not working efficiently anymore and our filters could use an update as well as the pumps have seen better days.

We are trying to maintain a really great learning opportunity for our environmental science students and a way to bring nature inside.

With your help we will be able to continue Trout in the Classroom and keep getting students hands wet as they test water and care for the tank maintenance and trout health.
