It has been a huge success! My students get to have fun in the kitchen while we make them and then we play board games that they received from this program which by the way they were super excited about. The materials have helped in the kitchen as well! Once we are done with the prep and playing games then it is time to sell the milkshakes. This is where the beauty in all this happens! My students have enjoyed reading some of their favorite children's stories in Spanish as well as some new stories. I have even had a few of my shop class students reading these Spanish children's books.\r\n\r\nThis project has provided not only reading material, but space to store the books that help to keep the classroom organized and showoff the books to help peak curiosity with the students.\r\n\r\nReading in a target language is essential for language comprehension.
