My Project

I am a pre-kindergarten teacher, and Technology Lead teacher at our Early Childhood Education Center. I am very eager and excited to take on both roles at our school. Our students are very young; however, they are ready to learn, explore and develop their young minds to be our future STEM leaders when they become adults. I am working very hard to collaborate with my staff so we can introduce them to age-appropriate STEM education lessons.

My pre-kindergarten student are whole body active learners!

In my classroom, we’re constantly on the move, so I often need resources that can easily travel with me and my students inside, and out of the classroom. I am requesting a portable smart tv for my classroom to support technology integration in my classroom. Having a portable television in prekindergarten classroom means my students will be able to move with the technology during our carpet and center time. Additionally, my students will have access to visual, auditory, and interactive learning that will support content we are required to teach in my classroom.

I have an aide in my classroom, having this mobile technology means I can have two lessons happening in my classroom. My aide can integrate technology into her lessons in another area of the classroom or school when needed. This TV is small therefore it is the perfect size for pre-kindergarten students.
