I was able to use the slushie machine to help students understand a liquid can change if it is frozen. The students love the hands on resources that were provided, but they are in love with the counting cones from Lakeshore. My students have been actively engaged, helping each other, and able to count and check their work. This brings joy to see the excitement that are on their faces. \r\n\r\nI also was able to put together the file organizer where I will store my students folders and files with things that they are currently working on. The students are aware to place the files in the bin that I have located on the floor by my desk. This allows me to check in with the students and give them any additional supports they may need. \r\n\r\nLastly I was able to use the laminating sheets for my centers, so it can be an extra force of reinforcement in stations. The laminating sheets allows me to reuse stations for the following year. In many cases, I do not need either devices because our new Smart Board is internet access which means I can access my educational apps, STEM Scopes Science lessons, and other resources I use in my classrooms.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, I tutor afterschool, and I am using this SMART BOARD to access interacitve activities to support students who are struggling with Reading and Math \r\nskills. \r\n\r\nI will always be grateful to everyone who helped bring this project to life. They learned when ink is heated in the tumbler press, the images appear on the tumblers. That was a science lesson in itself for my students. \r\n\r\nI made tumblers for students and gave them aways as Christmas presents.
