Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At the end of every school year, packing up a classroom is a whole production. Between books, supplies, décor, student materials, and all the random things teachers collect because we know we will need them again, it adds up fast. Right now, I need large packing tubs, bubble wrap, and classroom-safe repellent materials to help me pack my room in a way that is organized, protected, and not a complete mess by the time August rolls back around.

These tubs would help me sort and store materials by subject, season, and purpose instead of stuffing everything wherever it fits and dealing with the fallout later.

Bubble wrap would help protect breakable items, classroom tools, and decorations that I use year after year. The repellent materials would also help protect what I already have in storage over the summer, which matters when classrooms sit closed up for long stretches of time.

These items would help me shut down my classroom with less chaos and set myself up to reopen it in a much smoother way. A good pack-up makes a difference when you are trying to get back into your room and teach, not spend several days searching through boxes and mystery tubs.

In other words--these materials are TOTALLY NECESSARY!
