My students are all unique and creative students. They are energetic and very interested in using and exploring new things. 100% of my students are from low income families and face challenges and struggles everyday. When they are in school they are excited to be here and ready to be exposed to different and new things.
My students are very engaged in their learning.
Most of them enjoy hands on learning! They love to be able to experience their learning physically and not just through teacher presentation. Each of my students love to take lead in new topics, whether its relating their pass experiences or just adding to a conversation. They are not afraid to speak their minds and talk about how a topic relates to them personally.
My students are also very caring and helpful to one another. They are quick to help the teacher or another student with any task. They understand that everyone has their own strength and at times they may need help in other areas. Our classroom sets a warm, welcoming, and closeness environment which makes it enjoyable for my students and I to come to school everyday!
I am asking for inexpensive school supplies for my students. Each day my students come to school we have to manage the small amount of school supplies we have. My students are very great at sharing, therefore we are able to effectively manage the small amount of supplies we have now. We will be truly grateful to be able to have enough supplies and tools for all students in the classroom.
Unfortunately, most of my students' families are unable to supply them with basic school supplies like crayons, pencils, markers, and glue to succeed.
I have done my very best to replenish and buy enough supplies to support my students in completing our everyday tasks. It will be a great blessing for my students to have one less challenge through their learning process. Having new glue, markers, crayons, and pencils will allow my students to gain the fullest learning opportunity and experience!
