My students are challenged it to increased their reading and math skills. They gain a lot of experience with hands on experiences. With the purchase of more books geared to their reading levels and expected reading levels they will have the opportunity to actually read books on their level. Having reading centers will allow my students to work independently on previous skills already known and also promote new skills These independent technologies and manipulative experiences will allow students to develop independent skills and also allow me (the teacher) to work in small groups for individual needs. My students deserve the opportunity to flourish their literacy and math skills with the right tools needed to do so. These hands on experiences will give my students the opportunity to experience learning in different ways!
