Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

he resources in this project will help students develop self-regulation, focus, and emotional wellness through mindful movement activities. Many students experience stress, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, and challenges managing their emotions throughout the school day. Mindful movement tools provide healthy opportunities for students to release energy, practice coping skills, and improve their ability to focus on learning.

These resources will be used in individual counseling sessions, small groups, classroom lessons, and wellness activities to support students' social-emotional growth.

By incorporating movement into counseling and learning experiences, students can build confidence, strengthen self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, and develop lifelong strategies for managing stress. Ultimately, these tools will help create a supportive environment where students feel calm, engaged, and ready to succeed both academically and personally.
