This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am working in a Title I school. I have students from different backgrounds, with various life experiences and family situations. They come to school every day looking forward to learning new knowledge, skills, and life experiences. They are ready to read, calculate, analyze, critique, summarize and practice. They want to enjoy school and enjoy childhood.

I am doing my best to create a safe, comfortable, interesting, and engaging classroom for our students.

With your support, I can offer these students even more motivational supplies and activities.

My Project

I am teaching Math in an IB school. We are teaching the students ten IB learner profile traits. To be an inquirer is one of them. The students are asking about the ACT test, and SAT test and Math courses in IB high schools. They ask about the content and they ask about how to solve the Math problems. They ask me to show them. They want to be inquirers. They also want to be knowledgeable, which is another IB learner profile trait. Since they are so eager to learn, I am passionate to teach.

By donating to our project, you will help me to show my students how to use a graphing calculator in any of their coursework.

This will be part of my Math course from now on. You will also help my students in the following years to be knowledgeable and inquirers.
