Students who prefer a quieter, grounded spot are more able to participate and concentrate.\r\nThe stools at our small-group tables have encouraged collaboration and movement around shared work. They also use this area to read in small peer groups and complete written activities. I find that giving the kids more freedom while working often leads to more creativity, real conversations, and deeper thinking.
