My students need seating that is versatile and engaging to keep their minds focused. This project will support the diverse needs of my students that aims to keep their brains stimulated and ready to learn. Stability balls and wobble seats allow students with active bodies to also support the active mind inside. The addition of varied seating options like balance balls and wobble seats benefit a class full of fifth graders, as well as many energetic and capable students in the years to come! These seats will give my students a chance to fully focus on the learning at hand. I've seen these tools used by other classrooms and schools, and they support students who may have difficulties otherwise, like students with ADD/ADHD, students with autism, or students who just need a boost in alertness. We all know that students learn in different ways, and while it may not be the traditional approach, it is something that we can give our students so that they can do their best. Students need to know that school is a place where we meet their needs, not try to ignore them.
