My Students

Every morning in my classroom I start off by greeting each student with a hello! I believe as a teacher it is important to recognize each student by name, giving them a sense of worth in my classroom. I want students to feel valued and cared for!

My students come from many diverse backgrounds.

We have a high population of homeless students. We have a diverse group of scholars who come in at all different levels and abilities. My classroom has 25 students in it. The community I work in is a welcoming, warm, and compassionate community.

My Project

I believe students need hands on materials to aide them in their learning. I am requesting activities such as comprehension centers to help students be able to use these hands on materials to help them learn. By having different stations with multiple games and activities, I believe students ill be able to use hands on learning to achieve their goals.

Students will be able to use these math materials ordered to help them gain that hands on experience when dealing with complicated math topics.

One of the games ordered is a math activity station set, by having the differentiated games students will be able to break up into different groups and work on math at their own pace and levels.

Another game I am requesting is Reading and Writing activity stations. These will help students focus on standard based learning and practice the common core using differentiated activities. By having all these different games and materials, students of all needs and ability levels will be able to be and feel successful.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
