Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my classroom love to read. Currently, they are selecting texts from digital libraries such as the website GetEpic, or from my limited classroom library.

We are only midway through our year and they have devoured the books that met their interests.

I have a group of boys that love to read anything about sports. Another group enjoys books about animals and several of my students can't stop reading graphic novels.

If you donate, you will be helping me build up our classroom library which 6th graders in a Title I school would be able to enjoy year after year.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
