A student who normally shuts down when she is confused built the fraction model with the manipulatives and said, \"Wait... this actually makes sense now.\" It was the first time this school year she confidently answered a question out loud.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the bins unpacked, their faces lit up. They were immediately reaching for the counters, dice, dry erase boards, and place value blocks. Instead of frustration and tears, we are seeing engagement, problem solving, and my favorite, kids wanting to try again.\r\n\r\nYour donation did not just put supplies in a classroom.
