Welcome to my Donors Choose page! I am truly blessed to have a career that I love. For the past 22 years, I have had the unique pleasure to teach students in a variety of grade levels and schools across the nation and beyond! Making deep connections with each student is very important to me. I believe that in order to get to a child's mind, you must first get to a child's heart. My brain is constantly working in "teacher-mode". I am always thinking about my classroom, my students, and how I can enhance their learning. Like many teachers, I spend a great deal of my own money trying to make my classroom a special learning environment. I have recently accepted a new job teaching English Language Arts in Middle School.
