I teach in a Title-One low income school in Oklahoma City. The students at my school truly enjoy learning in every way possible. They love to be engaged with hands-on experiences, technology, and movement!
My students have a zest for learning that I enjoy watching unfold every day.
They are hard working and eager to please. They try their best to be respectful of the classroom and each other. They love hands-on learning and experiencing our lessons first hand. They enjoy creative experiences as well as experiences that allow them to experiment and move. They enjoy using any and all resources that are available to them. My school is a modern school that is full of technology and believes in hands-on learning instead of worksheets. The school also integrates art, drama, and music into the curriculum whenever possible.
With technology being such a main staple in today's classrooms my students thrive on being able to be connected to the outside world through computers and other electronics. Having access to these iPads will allow them to have more opportunities to explore technology.
Technology has allowed my students to be both explorers and problem solvers inside the classroom.
With iPads my students will be able to be self-sufficient in their learning. With test time coming up soon the iPads will also allow my students to prepare for the test by allowing them to explore fun and innovative ways to study.
