Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Young children learn best when they are moving, playing, and exploring. From balancing and jumping to taking turns and working as a team, these movement activities help them grow into confident, healthy learners.

These simple pieces of equipment will give my TK students countless opportunities to build confidence, strengthen their bodies, and discover the joy of movement every single day.

Hopscotch rings, balance stones, and poly spot markers will become obstacle courses that develop balance, coordination, and gross motor skills. Pop-up tunnels will encourage crawling, problem-solving, and imaginative play, while portable soccer nets introduce teamwork and kicking skills through fun games. Exercise dice will turn fitness into exciting movement challenges, beach balls will help students safely practice throwing, catching, and cooperative play, and hobby horses will make relay races extra engaging while building coordination and endurance. A sturdy mesh equipment bag will keep everything organized so these materials are easy to use and ready for years of active learning.
