Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our kindergarten classroom, creativity is at the heart of how students learn and express themselves. This project is focused on providing essential art supplies—art paper, paint, paintbrushes, staplers, and labels—that will allow my students to explore, create, and take pride in their work every day.

At this age, art is more than just fun—it helps develop fine motor skills, encourages imagination, and builds confidence.

With access to quality materials, students can fully engage in hands-on projects like painting, collage, and collaborative class creations. These experiences support not only artistic growth but also language development and social skills as students share ideas and work together.

Staplers and labels may seem simple, but they play an important role in helping us organize student work, create books, and display projects in a way that makes each child feel valued and celebrated.
