Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Almost all of my students come from low-income families. One hundred percent of our students receive a free breakfast and lunch daily.

Although our students come from less than ideal situations, they come to school online or in person daily and are ready to learn.

During our distance learning last year, supplies were not used as often. This year, my supplies have run out.

We also have a large population of English language learners and our population of students is ethnically diverse. Our students lack the technology or learning supplies due to their low income.

My Project

We are halfway through a trying year! My students are doing the best they can considering the circumstances. Things are starting to brighten up for most of my students. We need to start off the second half of the year with a good attitude and lots of supplies.

My students need supplies to start off the second half of the year on a good note.

Students need dry erase markers for their boards, paper, pencils, folders, and a few other classroom supplies. These supplies will help my students become successful in mathematics and other courses as well.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
