My Project

I am a reading teacher for grades kindergarten-5th grade at a Title I school in NC. Our students are a diverse group who speak a variety of languages, come from many different places, engage in various extracurricular activities, and embrace countless new experiences. What they all have in common is their desire to learn.

We want to celebrate all the hard work and focus my students have shown all year and during state testing.

My students have many end of the year tests and benchmark assessments coming up the first week of June. Many days they are taking a test that lasts for 3-4 hours. I want to give them something to look forward to after long days of testing. I will add the popcorn, coloring and activity books to the drawstring bags as a special celebratory gift to give each student. I also have books and colored pencils to add to the bags. The Uzzle game will be used during our testing days. After taking a long end of year test, I give students some fun game time. They requested this problem solving game to add to the other board games we have in the classroom.
