My Students

My class is made of 25 unique young people, many of which receive a free or reduced lunch. You will frequently find them cuddled up to a good book or writing to reflect on their learning.

Your help will bring these wonderful young minds all the experiences and exposures that help any child thrive.

A lack of economic resources doesn't dampen my students' enthusiasm for learning and love of building relationships. Every day we focus on how we can make our world and the world around us a better place. Welcome to Ms. H's third grade class!

My Project

TIME magazine is a reputable source for current events involving social studies and science topics. With this weekly subscription my students will explore topics that take them beyond their local community. BIG ideas can lead to BIG thinking.

This resource will help to show my students what is really important in the world.

They will be able to further develop compassion, curiosity, and a life long enthusiasm for learning. TIME for Kids app provides more opportunities for my students to interact with technology in meaningful ways. We will utilize what we learn in the print magazine and online magazine in our weekly lessons.
