The new carpet has become the heart of our classroom library. My goal was to use it as the main classroom carpet space but it ended up being a little too small for my class size. It works just as perfect in my classroom library though. The crayons and erasers have made our art and writing time so much more enjoyable, and the building blocks have quickly become a favorite choice during centers and free play. The small vacuum has also been a big help in keeping our classroom clean and cozy, my students even enjoy taking turns helping to tidy up! One of my favorite moments so far was watching my students work together on the carpet to build a \"community\" out of the new blocks. They created houses, roads, and even a school, using teamwork and creativity to bring their ideas to life. It was such a proud teacher moment seeing them cooperate and use their imaginations so fully. They were so excited! When the new carpet was rolled out, several students said it felt like our classroom had a \"new home.\" They couldn't wait to sit on it for story time. The building blocks were met with lots of cheers and instant play ideas, it was pure joy seeing their faces light up! We'll continue using the carpet for library time learning and community-building time each day. The crayons and erasers are helping students take pride in their writing, and we're planning to use the blocks for upcoming STEM challenges where students will design and build structures based on what we're learning in science and math.
