My Students

My students are always eager to learn. They come in everyday with a smile on their face happy to be at school. They love to be kids and have fun. There is no lesson without laughter during my day! They are growing up in a small town where everyone is very close. This means, I have a lot of close friends in my classroom. They come from blue-collar families, and most of my students come from split or broken homes. Some of my students do not have access to free internet outside of school.

My Project

The school I work in has limited resources in books and technology. This can be difficult with a rigorous curriculum that involves a lot of research projects. In 4th grade students research subjects such as weather, biographies, and The American Revolution. That's just to name a few!

They get so excited whenever technology is brought into the classroom.

By adding just a few more Chromebooks into the classroom, my class will have more exposure to technology to practice their typing, and more availability of resources to help with their projects. They get so excited whenever technology is brought into the classroom. These students need as much help as they can get!
