My students love to learn new things. We have already done two research units, and have to split our hard copy book resources between four classes. This makes it difficult to find a variety of texts that my students have an interest in and have enough of. Having these Chromebooks in our classroom will give them the ability to further their learning by allowing them individual time to research topics and set up accounts on websites such as Kahn Academy to give them access to more learning. I also have some students who really struggle with writing, and letting them type out their ideas would help keep them focused tremendously.
