My Project

I teach a wonderful group of third grade students in the California Bay Area. They are a great bunch of kids who are eager to learn and share ideas. We love to gather in small groups in our class and one item that could really bring our small group time to the next level is a white board table for us to write on!

We would love to have a white board table in our classroom to make our small group time even more interactive, allowing both me and the students to teach new concepts, brainstorm & share ideas, and check for understanding.

I know my students would be so excited to be able to write on the table and it would make learning so fun for them! I teach math to all of the almost 60 third graders at our school, and I could see us really using this table to work on math problems and solve problems together. We could also use this for taking notes while practicing our reading comprehension or performing science experiments, or for outlining ideas to organize our writing. If a student is struggling with something during small group time, it would be wonderful if I could jot some helpful reminders on the table for them. There are really endless ways this table could be used and I know it would be a great learning tool for my students!
