Through the project, we received lamps and calming overhead lighting that replaced the harsh brightness typically found in classrooms. Using this softer lighting daily has created a peaceful atmosphere where students feel more relaxed, comfortable, and ready to learn. The change in lighting has made a noticeable difference in helping students settle in, concentrate on their work, and enjoy spending time in our classroom community.\r\n\r\nThe project also provided messy mats that have been incredibly helpful during our many art and creative activities. These mats allow students to explore art more freely while keeping our workspace organized and protected. We have used them for a variety of fun and meaningful projects throughout the year, including our \"Good Luck Pig\" activity and several special holiday-themed art projects. Students love having the opportunity to create, and the mats make it easy for them to fully engage in hands-on learning without worrying about making a mess.\r\n\r\nThanks to the generosity of donors, our classroom has become a more inviting and creative space where students feel inspired to learn and express themselves. The calming lighting and art supplies are used regularly and continue to support both focused academic work and joyful creative experiences. We are so grateful for the support that helped bring this positive classroom environment to life.","fullyFundedDate":1765244597083,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-ambiance-vibes/9876773/","projectTitle":"Classroom Ambiance & Vibes","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gaab","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8798241_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y59&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1733111492502","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8798241"},{"teacherId":1558157,"projectId":9810066,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. With that money they were able to buy items for a Thanksgiving party. An added challenge for third graders was that they also had to provide enough food for 10 guests. Your donation of floor rocking seats, wobbly stools, and the TPT gift card has truly transformed the way my students engage with their learning.\r\n\r\nSince receiving these new seating options, my students have had the opportunity to choose seating that suits their individual needs, which has made a world of difference. The floor rocking seats have given them the freedom to rock and move while they work, helping them stay focused and energized during lessons. The wobbly stools are a hit, allowing students to wiggle and shift while remaining seated—perfect for those who need a little extra movement to stay engaged. This flexibility has been especially beneficial during group projects.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new seating, their excitement was palpable! They immediately tried out the wobbly stools, laughing as they figured out how to balance and wiggle without falling off. It was amazing to watch them engage with the new seating so eagerly—many of them commented on how much more comfortable they felt in their new spots, and they were thrilled by the idea of being able to move and still focus on their work. The TPT gift card has also been an incredible resource, allowing me to purchase supplemental materials and resources that are perfectly aligned with our current lessons.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you so much for your generous support.
