My Project

I currently have a brand new group of students in the second part of the year and I have had a large number of students asking for these specific materials. I have about 5 working paint markers left and a very sad supply of alcohol markers. The pencil sharpeners have broken or are on their last leg. My new students have already brought these to my attention and have asked for a restock of these supplies if at all possible.

So, here I am, reaching out for help on their behalf to restock materials I will not be able to restock mid-year.

The markers are used on all sorts of projects from sketchbook experiments and planning to final works of art. The paint markers, specifically, are so versatile since they work on wood, ceramics, glass, canvas, and other hard surfaces. The alcohol markers are usually used by my upperclass students and those who are already practicing at home with these. They come into the classroom and hope to find the material with which they have been pouring their time into learning and with which they truly excel.

I've also added a material to this wishlist I've never had in the classroom. That is a couple of sets of mixed, skin-tone markers. With the normal marker sets, it can be difficult to achieve the nuances of color in all of our skin tones. The demographics at my school are diverse, so I know my students would be thrilled to see more complex tones in the color choices as they do self portraits and other figure/portraiture works.
