One of the high priced items on the list was the Jelly Printing plates. When I pulled them out for my Art 2, they were so excited to play! And play they did! They were so into the process of printing with this tool that they used their results throughout their sketchbooks and used the prints to do Art Journaling with a visiting artist. I'm going to try to upload some of their process pictures. \r\n\r\nMany of the other items on the list were specifically for my Art 3, 3D class that has only just started meeting on January 7th. It is the largest Art 3 class I have had in my career with 33 students! I feel so secure with the amount of supplies that I would absolutely not have been able to afford without your help. I know they will be thrilled to get the opportunity to build with the items. \r\n\r\nAnother item you donated, and is new to my classroom, are the drawing forms. The are standard items in a high school art classroom, but I have never had the budget for them. They came in after drawing lessons with Art 1 last semester, but you better believe I will be using them with my new Art 1 students this semester in the drawing unit! I'm so excited!!! \r\n\r\nThank you again for giving my students all of these new and unique opportunities!","fullyFundedDate":1723669014116,"projectUrl":"project/equip-low-income-students-with-a-year-of/8535398/","projectTitle":"Equip Low Income Students with a year of Artistic Opportunities","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Straub","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9618200_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722479756541","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9618200"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_92198","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1553,"numTeachers":73,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":33,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":47,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"21.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":70.0,"schoolId":92198,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Shelbyville Central High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Shelbyville Central High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/tennessee/bedford-county-school-district/shelbyville-central-high-school/92198"}
