Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of our science standards in Kindergarten is learning about the plant cycle. We want students to be able to see the process of planting and growing their own plants! This project includes flower pots and a mix of seeds for students to be able to complete a project.

Our team wants to give our students the hands-on experience to this standard.

This project would fund not only my classroom but the other Kindergarten classes at our school. Over 80 students will get to expereince holding seeds, planting them, and watering them to see them live and grow. At the end of our plant life cycle unit, students will be able to take home these plants to show their families and continue to care for them!
