For starters, having clearly organized draws helps students (and adults) find supplies needed for projects right away, eliminating the guesswork! Hooks - whether they were wax hooks for walls, command strip hooks, or adhesive hooks - each was used for a unique purpose helping to create a visually organized learning space. More specifically, to hang up emergency bags, schedules, class lists, student worksheets, etc - as shown in the included photos. Our classroom giant hanging pencils needed to be remade using the pink athletic tape - thanks to this project, they were made and displayed right away. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping to make my classroom warm, inviting, and organized from the start. There, I explicitly taught students about different sections, what/where to store things, to create a simple functional system. \r\n\r\n\r\nI know that organization through using binders is not only a life skill, but a skill they will need in middle school to help keep track of their many different classes.
