This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have an old CNC wood wood carver that needs to be replaced. Our students design and cut 24 personalized signs per week. The old router has bad bearings and is air-cooled, making it extremely loud and distracting to other students working on other projects. The new spindle is 220V and water-cooled so it will be almost silent! The new spindle has more power!

With the new spindle, our students will be able to cut more signs with deeper details, without distracting the other students.

Our students love to work with wood. We want to inspire some future fine woodcrafters.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
