Our students have a growing interest in making short films during theater class. They are limited right now by a lack of digital space to store them.
The students who participate in theater are talented and outgoing.
They are creative and love to make their ideas into movies. There are many students who experience poverty and use theater as a way to confront this challenge in a creative way. Our school has started a theater program and students are asking for more film.
While theater takes only an actor and a stage, a lack of technology stands in the way of students who want to make films. Performers take to the medium of digital film making quickly and adeptly. The limit to their creativity is only the storage it takes to create. With these 4 memory cards each class will have their own 16GB of storage and will be free to make their vision a reality.
It is a beautiful thing to see a student work through the creative process.
Giving these kids a chance to make memorable creative choices, and to save them, is a way to help them become better artists and better human beings.
