This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As as science teacher/lunch recess supervisor, I desperately want more balls for our kids.

We are in an area with a growing trend toward gangs and violence and lunch recess is a time when there's a rise in violence at our school.

I'm convinced that the more access the kids have to balls, the less they'll be inclined to be in a violent conflict.

I love playing games with kids at lunch recess and I know that it meets a need in so many of them. Supporting this project will send ripples of love and support and deter violence for our kids. Thank you.
