My Project

Our goal is to provide our students with meaningful and memorable experiences through creative school events using items such as masquerade masks, ostrich feathers for centerpieces, and other Halloween decorations. The “Monster Mash Masquerade Ball” will give students the opportunity to express themselves, build social skills, and participate in a fun and positive school environment while enjoying an elegant and spooky Halloween-themed formal dance experience. Students will enjoy interactive activities including a Monster Makeover booth, themed photo opportunities, food, music, dancing, and other activities.

As a school in a lower-funded county, many of our students may not have opportunities to experience events like this outside of school, which is why we are committed to creating special experiences that make them feel included, celebrated, and inspired.

This event will also help build excitement and confidence leading up to our annual “Fine Arts Night” later in the school year. Through creative displays, themed experiences, music, and student engagement, we hope to inspire students to become more involved in the arts and school culture while creating lasting memories they will never forget.
